Overview
Star Wars is iconic, and the helmet of a stormtrooper is bound to grab the attention of fans of the saga. Recently it was purchased by Disney, ushering in a new era of space travel for modern audiences. Trinkl makes reference to this by putting Mickey Mouse’s ears on the helmet. Each ear has a golden star at the centre and marks Disney’s ownership of the movie franchise.
This stormtrooper has some meta stickers on his helmet, most notably one of a stormtrooper helmet. It states “Rebels against hate”, with a rainbow streak through the helmet. The background is a faded salmon colour, reminiscent of the sands on Tattooine. It fades to reveal Renaissance, classical art at the back of the image.
